| A very attractive and well preserved little pistol with a 2 1/2 inch octagonal barrel. This piece has simple engravings on both sides of the frame and a starburst on the trigger guard bow. One of my favorite designs from Belgium. Manufactured in Liege, Belgium (circa 1840-1845). Overall Length - 6 1/2 inches. |

The grips on this pistol have some of the nicest grain that I have seen on a weapon and still retain more than 90% of the original finish. The octagonal barrel appears to be rifled only at the bore (about 1 inch) to give a little spin to the projectile. |

Keeping with the simple scheme, the engraving on the frame top surface is a single line etched around the border of the rear tang and framing the hammer at the front. |
