Overall view of this interesting little pistol showing the double barrel/trigger configuration. |

I was amazed at the girth of this well made little pistol. This view shows the double hammers, hammer tang engraving and inlaid oval silver escutcheon. |

A close-up of the silver inlaid escutcheon. These embellishments were usually an indication that this weapon was produced for the upscale market of the period. I am always impressed by the woodworking skill exhibited in these inlaid elements. |

In addition to the "Liege" proof, this pistol has a "Crown over backwards P" stamping on both barrels. The frame engraving shows signs of wear and it appears that this pistol was used frequently but well maintained. |

The opposite side of the frame again showing the "Crown over backwards P" barrel stamp. |

A close-up view of the two hammers and engraving on the tang. The hammer plate is pitted and the engraving is worn, showing use. |

A close-up of the very wide triggerguard showing the remains of the Starburst engraving that frequently appears on these Liege manufactured pistols. |
