| This is the least embellished Belgian in my collection and raises some questions about the manufacture. It is the only Liege pistol that I own that has a serial number (5121). The longer drop grip seems to have been manufactured for a man's hand and the 1 1/4 inch smoothbore 11mm barrel must have made for quite a handful. My wife likes to joke that this one was made to be accurate "across the card table". Manufactured in Liege, Belgium (date unknown). Overall length 5 1/2 inches. |

A closeup of the left side of the frame of this pistol showing the "Liege" Proofmark. Other than the serial number, this is the only mark on the pistol. I was somewhat surprised to find a smooth finished Belgian pistol without the trademark engravings. |

A closeup of the right side of the frame. You can clearly see the junction of the twist-off barrel. There appears to be either the remains of a lug or a period weld at the rear of the barrel, but I have been unable to find any information about the purpose that could have been served by this addition.
